The Kraków Water has been awarded the honourable title of Pearls of the Polish Economy in the Large Pears category for „methodically implementing corporate policy and strategy as well as leadership among the most dynamic and effective enterprises in Poland”.

This exceptional ranking has been compiled for 14 years by the „Rynek Polski” Sp. z o.o. Publishing House, the publisher of the „Polish Market” English-language economic monthly, together with academics from the Decision Support and Analysis Lab at the Econometrics Institute, Warsaw School of Economics. It covers companies whose annual revenue from all economic activity amounted to at least PLN 100 million (Large Pearls) or PLN 1 billion (Great Pearls). They are, at the same time, companies with high indicators measuring the financial standing of the enterprise, analysed by the Chapter in four aspects: liquidity, efficiency, profitability and debt. The selection of indicators allows the current standing of the company and its growth potential in the near future to be assessed and its use of available resources to be analysed.
