GDPR in Kraków Waterworks
As from 25 May 2018, the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), will apply. The GDPR will apply in all European Union countries, including Poland. It introduces a number of changes in the rules governing the processing of personal data.
Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji S.A. in Kraków has taken a number of actions to meet the requirements set out in the GDPR. As the personal data Controller, we want to provide our clients, contractors and persons contacting the Company with a sense of complete security of personal data storage and processing.
In order to minimise the potential risk of violating your personal data, we have implemented new procedures and introduced a number of significant changes. We have trained employees in the personal data protection.
At the same time, we emphasise that in relation to the concluded contracts for water supply and / or sewage disposal, the purpose and scope of data processing does not change.
Your previous consents to the processing of personal data collected pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act do not expire. In addition, we have launched an information campaign so that our Recipients have complete information concerning personal data and the rules for its processing by Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji S.A. in Kraków.
