On November 21st Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland, awarded statuettes and certificates to the winners of the 14th “Employee-Friendly Employer” competition. Wodociągi Miasta Krakowa S.A. was one of the laureates of this prestigious award.

The “Employee-Friendly Employer” competition aims to promote employers with an outstanding record in terms of compliance with labour, and in particular where employees enjoy job stability, where occupational health and safety regulations are adhered to and where there are no obstructions to trade union activity. This is the only competition where employees who are members of the “Solidarity” trade union nominate the candidates.
Wodociągi Miasta Krakowa S.A. was amongst the awarded employers. Our business was appreciated for its organisational culture based on social dialogue, guaranteeing compliance with the law and the most stringent ethical standards. Good terms of employment, job stability, opportunities for employees to develop professionally as well as high occupational health and safety standards proved to be equally important. Piotr Ziętara, President of the Management Board, received the award on behalf of Wodociągi Miasta Krakowa S.A.
