Silver "Cracoviae Merenti" medals distributed

"Cracoviae Merenti" is Kraków's highest award, granted by the City Council of Kraków at the proposal of the Medal Commission, in recognition of special merits to our City. On 27 April, the list of honoured individuals and institutions was announced, and on 2 June, the Silver Medals were ceremoniously presented. Kraków Water was recognised for its activities for the benefit of the City and its residents.
 
On 2 June 2022 at noon, at the Kraków City Hall in the Stanisław Wyspiański Meeting Room of the Kraków City Council,  Professor Jacek Majchrowski - Mayor of the City of Kraków and Rafał Komarewicz - Chairman of the Kraków City Council, presented the most important distinctions of the City of Kraków - the "Cracoviae Merenti" medals - during a ceremonial session. On behalf of Kraków Water, the silver medal was collected by Piotr Ziętara - President of the Management Board.
Kraków Water has found itself in the honourable group of three winners of this year's edition of the highest municipal award. Silver Cracoviae Merenti Medals were also awarded to the National Museum in Kraków, the oldest and largest museum in Poland, and the Tygodnik Powszechny, one of Poland's oldest Catholic socio-cultural magazines.
