Amicus Hominium awards were presented at a gala at the Kraków Philharmonic Hall on Tuesday, 13 December. The recipients included Piotr Ziętara, President of the Management Board of Kraków Water, who was granted the award in the Social Responsibility category. 
The Amicus Hominum award is granted by the local government of the Małopolska Province to individuals from the business environment who can significantly influence the economic and social conditions by their perseverance, courage and entrepreneurship,  These individuals also contribute to the development of corporate social responsibility and employee volunteering in their company.
This year's recipient in the Social Responsibility category was Piotr Ziętara, President of the Management Board of Kraków Water, who personally collected the award during the Tuesday gala at the Kraków Philharmonic Hall. The president was recognised for supporting noble activities, as well as institutions helping the sick, the homeless, children, seniors and animals.
Employee initiatives supported by the President of the Management Board, such as the collection of clothes, food, bottle caps, preparation of Santa Claus packages for children from an orphanage and participating in various charity projects were also noted. As a gesture of solidarity with Ukraine, Piotr Ziętara organized the first convoy with donations that set off from Krakow.
